LYNDA RANDLE.

Lynda Randle was born and raised in Washington, D.C. Growing up a part of the D.C. inner-city culture, Lynda experienced a pain and anguish that can rarely be imagined by the majority of Christian-America Since giving her life to the Lord Jesus Christ, He has used the scars of her youth to bring a distinct depth and richness to her ministry. Her Life is the fulfillment of the promise of Isaiah; “…Bestow on them the crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.” – Isaiah 61:3, NIV

Anyone who knows Lynda now will some time or another find themselves marveling at her bottomless supply of enthusiasm. Whether she is ministering to a large congregation, or one-on-one to a runaway teen, her joyful dedication to the Lord is always a source of encouragement and an infectious catalyst of growth. In November of 1989, Lynda married Mike Randle of Kansas City, Missouri. Mike’s background growing up on the streets of Kansas City’s inner-city and his dramatic conversion experience have given him a powerful voice to youth who find themselves in the same desperation that he knew on the street.

The Randles enjoy the various occasions where they are able to minister together, Mike speaking and Lynda singing. Lynda and Mike have been blessed with two precious daughters, Patience and Joy. One of the remarkable things about Lynda’s ministry is her ability to quickly build rapport with her audience and “draw them out” regardless of the type of group she is addressing. In fact, her message and music have proven to be truly cross-cultural.

Fulfilling her calling as an artist with non-stop energy, Lynda’s music and message have proven cross-cultural and cross-generational. She authored a book of testimonies entitled God On The Mountain that reveals the many lives that have been moved by the song. In addition to her calling to minister through music, Lynda also enjoys her calling as a wife to Mike, and mom to 2 precious daughters, Patience and Joy, stating simply, “I am so blessed.”

“For years now, my sister Lynda has truly been the inspiration for my occupation. The first song I ever sang in public was at one of her concerts. I can honestly say that I would have never dawned the stage if it had not been for her example. I love her very much and highly recommend that you check out the vocals that this lady packs! She is truly a landmark singer of our time.” Michael Tait, DC Talk

“Lynda Randle is one of the most talented and committed servants of Christ that I know. Her testimony and lifestyle coupled with the melodious voice that God has given her combines to provide solid Christian encouragement and ministry to those who are privileged to hear her.

It is with the highest degree of confidence that I commend the music ministry of Lynda. She is one of God’s choicest servants. She does more than sing, she inspires.”  Dr. Tony Evans

  11. I walked away from Jesus many years ago. My sister Loretta always vowed she would “bring me home”. Last year my darling sister passed away and my heart was broken. One night I was channel surfing and came upon Lynda Randle being introduced.
I had great disdain for “those gospel shows” and tried to change the channel…but the remote wouldn’t work. As I was fooling with the remote and trying to change the battery Lynda began singing “When I get the end of the way” and went on to sing “I’m free”. As I listened I felt a glow come over me and I KNEW my sister was there beside me. Because of Lynda I have asked Jesus to take me back into his fold. I have never felt closer to God and shall continue to testify that it is never to late to ask Jesus to forgive “that foolish child” within. Thank You Lynda….May God Bless you always.
